CONTROLLER (FULLY REMOTE, East Coast)
Now recruiting on behalf of a growing, PE-backed SaaS / Tech company on the east coast for an experienced Accounting leader.

This CONTROLLER role will serve as the right hand to the CFO and will manage the accounting function (team of 3-5 professionals) with responsibility for such things as :
- Financial Reporting
- Cash Management / Treasury Accounting
- Business insurance / Risk management
- General Ledger / Accounting Operations
- Acquisition Accounting
- Accounting and Payroll management
- Compliance and management of external auditors and tax firm
- Financial Systems - driving systems improvements and efficiencies, including implementation.
- Staff mentoring and development
- Collaboration with FP&A team
- GAAP compliance
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)
- CPA designation
- Recent experience working in software / SaaS company required
- Big 4 public experience
- 8-10 years of relevant, progressive experience
- Broad accounting oversight experience
- Strong systems acumen
- Track record of supervising and developing accounting professionals
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Acquisition accounting experience
- Experience working for a private equity-backed company
- Highly collaborative personality
