Job Title : Maintenance MechanicLocation : Kernersville, NCShift : 7pm-7am night shiftSchedule : 2-2-3 schedulePay : $25 / hr+ DOE Summary-Provide equipment support as needed, including troubleshooting / repair, PM"s and calibrationsTechnical Assignments and Management-Troubleshoots equipment and makes repairs / calibration as required to support manufacturing (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Pneumatics and Control Systems)-Perform PM"s / calibrations on assigned equipment assuring that tasks are performed safely, correctly and on time-Research and source parts as needed, proving PO"s and part details to central stores-Reads and interprets specifications, diagrams, manuals and other documentation-Attends and participate fully on training and safety sessions as assigned-Comply with all regulatory, company, ISO and departmental policies, SOP"s, WI"s and records-Provide machine set-up, changeover and part replacements as needed to support manufacturing-Effectively present information with vendors and co-workers-Read and comprehend complex instructions, equipment / instrumentation manuals, assembly, mechanical, electrical and P&ID drawings Daily Tasks Work well with other employees-Write correspondence and communicate via email-Regularly work in contamination control environment using gowning, hearing protection, latex glove and safety shoes-Standing, walking, sitting, using fingers and hands, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing and lifting objects up to 25 pounds-See clearly from 20 inches to 20 feet with or without the use of corrective lenses-Distinguish wiring colors-The safe operation of all shop tools-Proper lock out / tag out procedures-Arc flash PPE-Wet and humid environment, outdoor weather conditions-Work near moving parts, in areas with risk of electrical shock-In manufacturing areas requiring proper PPE-Some traveling and driving are required-Adhere to all regulatory and company safety rules, procedures and policies-Wear safety shoes at all times-Potential shock hazards when working near various electrical service areas (LOTO and Arc Flash)-Potential and slip hazards-Requirement to never reach into machinery while it is in operation Education-Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Systems Technology or similar programs or 5 years of experience in equivalent position
