LPN - Skilled Nursing - Full-time Nights

The Opportunity :

Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time night positions in our 57-bed skilled nursing and rehab unit.

We offer superior pay rates, interesting work, and a variety of flexible assignments. We are centrally located between Westport and the Plaza.

The Work :

Our LPN's provide direct patient care and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by CNA's. Specific duties include :

• Providing professional nursing services and medication to patients. Ensuring patients receive services in accordance with their care plan.
• Overseeing the activity of assigned nursing assistants.
• Assisting with new admissions and discharges.
• Consulting with patients, family members, and physicians in planning the patient’s care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Visiting patients to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Notifying the patient’s attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in condition.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

A successful candidate for this position will be licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.

Shift Details : This is a full-time night position working three 12-hour shifts. Employees are asked to work some weekends and will receive differentials for weekends and nights.

Other shifts and hours may be available. We offer flexible schedules for students.
