Position : Azure Cloud Deployment Engineer
Location : San Jose, CA (remote)
Job description
Responsibilities
- Experience in setting up Splunk deployments in Azure ( manually provisioning and configuring Splunk software on Azure VMs).
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud ( resource group, set-up a virtual network, subnets for Splunk servers, create Azure VMs, Configure Storage accounts, securing splunk deployment with appropriate network security groups and access controls)
- Execute / Run Test automation cases (pre-defined / designed for AWS and GCP) in Azure Cloud
- Configure and test infrastructure-level changes to enable communication between different cloud environments (Azure with AWS / GCP))
- Engage in basic triaging of reported issues, attempting to isolate root causes and potential solutions for cross-cloud scenarios
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages ( to read and tweak deployment scripts either using Python / JavaScript or PowerShell)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and any container orchestration
