Summary
The Eagle Product Inspection Field Service Technicians (FST) are required to provide World Class support to our customers through start-ups, audits, maintenance, repair, and training of Eagle X-Ray machines.
Eagle FST's are responsible for managing all aspects of field service support including the following :
- Communications between customers and the service department
- Effective travel scheduling
- Detailed preparation of written reports and documentation
- Maintenance of job assignments
While always keeping in mind to follow Eagle procedures and best practices.
Location can be any of these areas :
Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Satisfy all Safety Requirements for both Eagle, MT-PI and Customer Sites.
- Attend weekly calls led by a Service Manager.
- Efficiently execute scheduled service calls as directed from Dispatch or Management while considering cost, time, and customer needs / expectations.
- Develop and maintain good customer relationships; Become the customer's trusted advisor.
- Identify root cause of service issues (first time fix).
- Accurately complete and submit all service reports and documentation per service activity, timesheets, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assess product / equipment performance, recommend modifications or improvements, communicate all open items.
- Keep up with ongoing technical training.
- Weekend / afterhours work as required based on workload and rotation.
- Maintain company supplied equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Participate in a remote technical support rotation.
