Summary
As in Nurse Assistant at CoxHealth’s 400 Med-Surg Cardiac Unit, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day basics of patient care.
Enjoy helping patients while working under the direction of nursing staff to perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, and moving patients, changing linens, and other assigned duties.
You will obtain information on patients’ conditions as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition.
Job Requirements Education Preferred : High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years Skills Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong analytical / problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-taking environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Licensure / Certification / Registration Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
