Salary : Up to $170,000
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for credit rating, LGD, loan classification, and credit line determination, and assure the data accurately reflected in GCMS;
- Perform credit and relevant financial analysis and prepare credit application;
- Communicate with the Credit Approval Department and / or related parties (i.e., agent bank, other branches / subsidiaries, Legal and Compliance Department, etc.
- submit credit application to the Credit Approval Department and once agreed to by the Credit Approval Department, present it to the Credit Approval Committee for approval;
- Monitor the entire credit application and approval process in accordance to policy;
- Lead the closing process, including but not limited to legal documentation, preparing facility information sheet, funding via coordination with Loan Administration Department and GCMS operations, to ensure timely closing;
- Collect and organize the related documents and facilitate file management in accordance with the credit policy requirements.
- Understand needs of prospective clients and identify suitable potential business opportunities with prospective clients.
- Conduct comprehensive prospect and client analysis to identify business opportunities including credit and non-credit products & services to optimize the client relationship;
- Solicit targeted clients and business opportunities in compliance with the Branch’s Policy and Procedure including Risk Appetite, FID Policy & Procedure, FID Business Strategy, and the respective Underwriting Guidelines;
- Establish and maintain business relationships (with the support of supervisors when necessary) with clients and engage in delivery of solution, products and services appropriate to improve client engagement;
- Evaluate deals and negotiate deal terms with banking partners and / or prospective clients; evaluate deals for alignment with business strategy, risk appetite and limits;
- Monitor the assigned client portfolio, develop work plan and achieve the annual strategy and target set by the Branch and the team lead;
- Set up the account strategy for clients and prospects with particular focus on the use of economic capital and balancing branch wide priorities;
