Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care (IMC)
Location : Pflugerville, TX
Shift : 12 HR Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)
Shifts Per Week : 3
Scheduled Hours : 36 Hours
Hourly Rate : $32 - $53 per hour
Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) to work night shifts.
As an RN in the IMC, you will provide comprehensive patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and advanced medical treatment.
This is a full-time role with excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Prioritize patient needs and adjust care plans based on evolving health conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional care, ensuring effective communication with physicians, families, and other care team members.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options, care plans, and recovery processes.
- Use critical thinking to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations, maintaining patient safety and well-being.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records.
- Provide guidance to other staff members, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure follow-up care.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Proficient in medical terminology, nursing laws, and patient care standards.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
