Description
Assist FCS clients with applying, navigating, and understanding Oklahoma Medicaid benefits and its private Contracted Entity managed plans.
Function as an agency Medicaid expert and liaison with clients and staff to maximize reimbursement.
- Determine client eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare, or other applicable insurance.
- Assist with Medicaid enrollment and re-enrollment.
- Ensure applications are completed correctly with required supporting materials.
- Provide unbiased Medicaid insurance information to current and prospective clients regarding the Medicaid Contracted Entity benefits plans aka "SoonerSelect" benefits plans.
- Handle questions, issues, and provide detailed information on Oklahoma Medicaid eligibility, rules, benefits, and requirements for enrollment or re-enrollment.
- Documenting client paperwork into the FCS database.
- Provide outreach to clients to assist with education and comprehension of Medicaid enrollment, re-enrollment, and coverage.
- Utilize reports to target and assist with updating client insurance information.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license and satisfactory driving record to navigate to other FCS business sites.
Preferences :
- Medicaid and insurance experience preferred
- Mental health experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
Knowledge :
- Strong computer skills with the Microsoft suite of products.
- Strong attention to detail and efficiency interacting with online data entry and web based programs
