This Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for :

Staff recruitment and selection process. Evaluating, developing, and conducting orientation, training, and continuing education programs for our Ambulatory Nutrition team that services patients in Boston (in addition to our satellite locations).

Ambulatory team members take care of patients in person and both virtual setting.

  • Administering competency assessments for professional, technical, and support staff.
  • Managing, motivating, and developing staff. Conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Evaluating, developing, and conducting orientation, clinical training, and continuing education programs within the department.
  • Developing and implementing nutrition-related goals / objectives, policies and procedures, and standards of care in collaboration with other hospital staff to improve efficiency and quality of patient care and overall operations of Ambulatory Nutrition.
  • Monitoring and maintaining compliance with departmental quality improvement initiatives, governmental and accreditation requirements, professional credentialing, and state licensure requirements.

Applying regulatory knowledge of agencies including Joint Commission, DPH, FDA, and CMS.

Providing direct patient care as needed.

To qualify, you must have...

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field; Master's degree, preferred
  • Six years of progressive dietetic experience in Pediatric Nutrition, including demonstrated project management and leadership experience.

Experience with Ambulatory scheduling and billing, a plus.

  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
