Position Overview :

The Commercial Janitorial Foremen will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of 7 industrial cleaning laborers and is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of cleaning services performed at the assigned location.

The schedule for this position is : Monday - Friday; 7am to 3 : 30pm.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Responsible for the supervision of a crew involving mops, brooms, rags, floor scrubbers, low pressure washing, and chemical solution cleanings.
• Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and verify that all appropriate tools and supplies are available onsite to complete the job safely.
• Enforce jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program
• Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Acts as a liaison for all site leadership in their region and maintains positive client relations.
• Actively develops and maintains a high-performing team that is dedicated to customer service.
• Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience

• Must have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the construction / industrial field with some management experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred (but not required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Work Availability

This role works Monday - Friday; 7am to 3 : 30pm.

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
