Job Description
We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced attorney with a focus on
construction and litigation , ideal candidate
must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in both state and federal court proceedings. Bankruptcy experience is an asset.
Responsibilities :
The attorney will be engaged in a diverse range of legal activities, including but not limited to :
- Drafting demand letters
- Drafting opinion letters
- Drafting construction demands
- Drafting court documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Performing legal research
- Participating in hearings
- Communicating with opposing parties
- Participating in settlement negotiations
- Engaging with prospective clients
Requirements :
- Experience in Construction and Litigation (4-5 years preferred)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Know how to e-file in state court and federal court (as a backup to the paralegal)
- Familiarity with LEDES billing
- Licensed in the state of Florida
