The candidates will be key members of an interdisciplinary team creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Shopify / E-Commerce Development : Develop and customize Shopify themes based on project requirements. Build custom Shopify apps and features to optimize eCommerce functionality.
Maintain and enhance existing Shopify stores, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborate with UI / UX designers to create responsive, visually appealing, and optimized Shopify stores.
Integrate third-party and homegrown APIs and services with Shopify to extend store capabilities. Debug and troubleshoot Shopify-related issues (both frontend and backend).
Develop and customize other e-commerce platform apps (WordPress, Magento,
Native App Development : Develop, test, and deploy native mobile applications (iOS and / or Android) Build custom mobile app functionalities like product browsing, checkout, and account management.
Ensure that mobile applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with mobile applications.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years’ experience with PHP, PHP Laravel, MySQL
- 2+ Years’ experience in e-commerce development skills
- 2+ Years’ experience in mobile app development both for Android and iOS
- Excellent understanding of B2B and B2C business functionality required
- 2+ years of experience working with Shopify, WooCommerce, ability to develop Shopify apps, WordPress plug ins
- Knowledge of other major e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Wix etc.
- Experience working with REST and SOAP API
- Experience with GIT version control
- Experience with external hosting such as , Heroku
- Experience using Xamarin and other native app development tools
