Our dry pet food factory, located just 10 miles from downtown, has been a production facility for over 50 years. As producers of iconic brands such as Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, and Beneful®, we contribute to the well-being of pets in the community and nationwide.

As an Associate HR Manager, you will gain experience developing and maintaining employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, as well as process management.
You will be responsible for leading and supporting all employee and relation issues at the plant. You will serve as backup to the Human Resources Manager and a liaison to the Warehouse and Maintenance departments.

- Manage employee and labor relations activities in the factory.
- Be proactive in identifying and recommending initiatives that will continuously improve the plant working environment.
- Act as the liaison and main contact for contingent labor vendors, specifically within Warehouse and Maintenance.
- Learn and support timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the area of performance management and employee engagement and serve as a resource to associates and supervisors.
- Coordinate the recruiting, orientation and post-employment evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations and Nestle standards.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience : 2+ years of Human Resources support, clerical, or admin experience required

- Must be mobile / open to relocation within 12-18 months
