Job Summary :

• The Shift Leader is responsible for training, directing, and assisting employees and for the overall operation of the store.
• These are the store’s most capable Juiceristas.
• They are the acting manager on duty during their shifts.
• Shift Leaders oversee that we deliver a quality product while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Shift Leaders are efficient in opening and closing the business. They are empowered to make decisions and answer all guests’ questions.

Shift Leaders :

• Take initiative and are proactive in completing and delegating store tasks
• Key holders of the store
• Scheduled for opening and / or closing shifts
• Can hold the team accountable to keep up with Clean Juice standards and procedures
• Are eligible for promotions for management positions

Responsibilities :

• Work constantly to uphold Clean Juice’s 10 core values
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and ensure all team members do the same
• Oversee that we deliver a quality product in a timely fashion.
• Resolve complaints and troubleshoot problems when the GM or AM aren’t present
• Be efficient in both opening and closing the business
• Manage daily sales goals and labor
• Keep organized books with necessary daily forms
• Be efficient in all POS tasks such as issuing refunds, gift cards, pay-outs, etc.
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Ensure daily tasks are completed before the end of each shift
• Ensure the store is in pristine condition at the end of each shift
• Handle cleanse orders and cleanse binder / calendar
• Be efficient in accepting orders, writing checks, filing invoices, etc.
• Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance
• Adhere to health and safety standards when handling food

Qualifications :

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Most of us can remember being told to eat our vegetables when we were younger. Co-founder Kat Eckles certainly does! Her parents urged her to eat them every day, yet, like most kids, she wasn’t a big fan (of the vegetables, not her mom and dad!) That proved to be a phase, as she grew up to not only eat and love them but also grow them at home.

Today, she knows all too well how integral they are to a well-balanced diet, so when she started her own family, the tables turned and she was now the one telling her kids to eat their vegetables.

Yet she realized there was an easier way to enjoy the benefits of vegetables juicing! With the right blend of vegetables and a little bit of banana for sweetness, gone were the days of pushing her children to eat their veggies, because her family was loving the fresh juices and smoothies she was making.

Kat’s entrepreneurial-minded husband, Landon, loved them, too, and quickly realized the potential to bring clean and organic juices to communities throughout the country.

They opened their first juice bar franchise location in Huntersville, NC, in June 2015, and today they have over 200 locations throughout 32 states and they are one of the fastest-growing franchises on the market!
