The Wound Care Nurse is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate wound care in an outpatient setting. The Wound Care Nurse is involved in the acute, chronic and rehabilitative care of persons with wounds.
This position reports to the Program Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required - Current American Heart Association BLS certification required - Certification in Wound Care Nursing strongly preferred - Minimum of one (1) year wound care experience required
