Responsibilities

of the Financial Reporting Analyst include :

  • Preparation of monthly management financial statements and analysis of results.
  • Preparation of quarterly IFRS submissions to Group.
  • Preparation of quarterly / annual statutory filings, including separate accounts.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of relevant IFRS and statutory accounting principles.

This role will be filled at either the Specialist I or II level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant's experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

Basic Qualifications :

Mid-Senior Level :

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

Senior Level :

  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Big 4 experience
  • Insurance industry experience
  • CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
  • Project management experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience
  • Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills
