Overview
Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking for Family Medicine Physicians to join our brand new Express Care Clinic in Elk Grove, CA.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Practice will have 2 Physicians and 3 APPs
- Walk in clinic with flexible shift schedule and part time options available
- Full patient coverage when not in office for work / life balance
- Clinic will be open 7 days a week
- Work on average of 3.5 days a week, including occasional weekends

Compensation Range : $275,000 - $290,000 / Year

Responsibilities
Patient Care :
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication :
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures :
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement :
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance :
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range
$132.00 - $139.00 / hour
