Overview

Susquehanna International Group is growing and, as a result, have planned and are planning a number of commercial construction projects at our 400,000 square foot, 9 story, Class A office building and 100,000 square foot 3 story building across the street.

We’re looking for a Project Superintendent on our 2nd shift to supervise, direct, and manage daily site operations for all renovation, retrofit and build-out projects going on or planned at this 401 City Avenue location.

Projects will cross between SIG dedicated space as well as tenant and common area space on our 20-acre property.

Required hours are : Monday Thursday, 4pm to 2am.

In this role you will :

You’ll work directly with and schedule the trades on-site, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC (among others), liaising between them and the firm to ensure projects are built out according to required plans and specifications.

Based upon project needs, you’ll work directly with Procurement teams on-site to secure and track all materials necessary to ensure project completion.

Additionally, you’ll partner with our Construction Project Managers to ascertain project needs, coordinating between on-site trades and firm personnel to ensure work is done within required deadlines.

Current projects could vary in square footage between 1,500 and 8,000 sq. ft. & could include :

  • Full retrofit and build-out of existing multiple office space locations to fully renovate the needs of the teams moving within the building.
  • Trading Floor renovations
  • Reporting and providing project status updates to management teams throughout project duration; partnering with on-site trades to keep projects on track and / or recalibrate if needed.
  • Tracking and managing inventory across all projects currently in progress or planned for the near future.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a construction project superintendent, or similar role required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and OSHA standards required.
  • Ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects across various square footage required.
  • Prior experience with tenant fit-outs, especially construction related fit-outs, required.
  • Prior experience with construction document control and scheduling software required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
  • Knowledge of various systems including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, structural, and HVAC required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and OSHA standards required.
  • Prior experience with tenant fit-outs, especially construction related fit-outs, required.
  • Knowledge of regulations surrounding permitting, review and inspection processes required.
  • Demonstrated experience with construction management, scheduling and document management software systems required.
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.
