Job Summary
- Assists physicians, other athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics.
- Follows patient from arrival to departure.
- Ensures patient and physician needs met to support patient experience.
- Prepares charts for visits, testing, & approvals.
- Assists in procedure / surgery scheduling, contributes to clinical regulatory readiness, inventory / stocking, patient phone call responses, other duties as assigned including of subordinate positions.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree : Athletic Training accredited program( Required )
- Masters Degree : Athletic Training accredited program (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- NATA - Natl Athletic Train Assoc ( Required )
- AT-LIC - PA Athletic Trainer ( Required )
- BLS - Basic Life Support ( Required )
Experience
- 2 years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting ( Required )
