Associate Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with the biggest firm in Pasadena, CA with over 30 attorneys. This is a very collegial and collaborative team environment.

We seek an associate attorney with 2 - 5 years of experience in general civil litigation experience. You will be responsible for managing all assigned client cases, including research, client relations, counsel, coordination within the firm, and case outcomes.

This position is out of our headquarters in Pasadena, California and you will be receiving work from our partner and senior attorneys.

Our firm's practices or services include Estate Planning, Real Estate, Corporate Tax, Public Agency, Elder Law, Insolvency, Private Fiduciary, IP, Employment, Banking & Financial, and Estate Settlement / Probate.

IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• Someone who can support General Civil Litigation as a broader practice.
• Assist in handling all phases of civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Work closely with Partners and senior attorneys to support complex litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice.
• Participate in depositions, court hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting billable hour requirements (1,600 2,000 hours per year).
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal services.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on corporate defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to meeting billable hour requirements and delivering results for clients.

COMPENSATION :

• Compensation : $120,000 - $190,000
• Quarterly Bonus : 10%, 15%, or 20% of annual salary dependent on combines

billable and non-billable hourly performance.

Collection & Introduction Commissions : 5 % collections commissions as well

as 15% introductions commissions

Annual Year-End Discretionary Bonus
