Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Accessioner

Position type : Full-time Contract

Duration : 3+ months of contract

Location : Overland Park, Kansas

Shift : Monday-Friday. 6 PM - 2 : 30 AM

Summary :

The main function of an accessioner is responsible for processing laboratory samples.

They work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, like blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis.

They mostly work with blood.

Lab professionals carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received.

Essential Duties :

Work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, like blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis.

Receives and triages all specimens for clinical testing

Manages clinical information within lcls database.

Performs specimen tracking, packing and shipping duties

Collaborates with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.

Preferred Skills :

Data Entry experience

Experience handling medical samples (urine, blood) people that are comfortable handling specimens.

Familiar with 10 KEY

Experience in high paced environment

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : Pay Range : $18 - $20 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
