The Production Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the production activities for the Display Filling / Machine Area.

This position requires a hands-on ability to assist within production, oversee employees and processes and to fulfill expectations by running at standard.

This position includes managing line supervisors, operators and approximately 30 temporary employees in Norton MA. The job requires excellent ability to manage production numbers while operating in a safe environment.

This is a working manger position and as such will be expected to fill in and help as needed in all areas.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure a safe and productive working environment and that all safety and company procedures are followed
• Manage and supervise the Display Filling / Machine Area process and ensure that it is operating as efficiently as possible
• Assist with the restocking of product to support employees and production
• Ensure inventory transactions are completed timely and accurately, managing all areas of process
• Take responsibility for production planning, output, standard costs and quality
• Report, track and achieve standard costs for all display filling
• Oversee all paperwork flow and ensure thoroughness
• Manage display area to company standards, optimizing daily expectations
• Provide direction and assistance to employees
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management to support operations

qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated safety leadership, integrity and ethics
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and production flow
• Ability to be decisive, take initiative, multi-task skills
• Strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills to lead a group
• Positive attitude and attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
• Dependable and results oriented with the ability to analyze and adjust to meet production standards in a complicated setting
• Familiarity with heavy equipment and technical expertise to help manage mechanics
• Ability and experience operating fork trucks, pallet jacks and / or hand trucks preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual preferred
