Position Summary
The System Support Specialist are responsible for supporting system access security, performance, enhancements, testing and troubleshooting for existing and new payroll systems and / or PEO software.
In addition, the specialist will support onboarding and launch efforts with new payroll software. The specialist will be responsible for coordinating additional internal resources, and work on the setup and validation as needed.
Using the knowledge of our processes and procedures, you will assist with data validation from a wide variety of formats (including text, and comma delimited data files), using your analytical skills to research and identify any issues with the system setup or the data translations, data mapping, helping to identify root cause of the discrepancies and participate in problem solving.
This position requires a detailed individual who is committed to providing the highest quality in system and software consolidation in the industry while meeting tight deadlines.
You must have strong analytical skills and be very thorough and methodical. This person will work heavily with GL Accounting setup within our software and support system functionality issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide varying levels of services through configuration, analysis, validation, data mapping, integration, move to production, go-live support, transition, project planning, and professional consultative services to internal and external clients to ensure successful implementation
- Able to talk at a high level about the various components and the touchpoints between them.
- Provide post launch system support to external and internal clients
- Troubleshoot system issues as received in Jira ticketing and tracking system
- Understand project scope, timelines, and milestones
- Provide status reports and updates utilizing internal tools
- Guide and drive the internal and external client towards the best solution for business needs
- Find creative solutions to help clients with their long term needs

- Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing tracking systems
- Experience leading others and task management
- Ability to deescalate roadblocks using effective communication and best practices
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree preferred
- years' experience in the PEO industry preferred
