The Account Manager Outsourced Risk Management provides administrative / system(s) support and best in class service to Outsourced Risk Manager (ORM).
Applies knowledge of current industry trends, creates / maintains client data in files and systems, manages workflows and processes while providing administrative and client support to the team.
Position responsibilities
- Creates client exposure data models, collect, track, and manage client data
- Ensures accuracy of Client Profile Information in real time throughout the policy period
- Collaborates with and supports internal account teams
- Manage and file all client / carrier / internal correspondence and review / decide appropriate action at the direction of the team
- Provides placement support to ORM
- Assists in claims reporting and subsequent tracking, including related correspondence
- Coordination of endorsement process and delivery with account team
- Track billing and delivery of client invoices
- Oversees allocation process
- Leads and manages projects / project changes as assigned by ORM
- Tracks project deliverables to meet set deadlines
- Monitors and reports on progress of projects to all stakeholders
- Coordinates with clients and ORM to ensure project delivery
- Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and continuously strive to improve service to the customer
- Comply with Lockton's policies and procedures, including appropriate documentation
- Attend education workshops, and carrier functions, when requested
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Position qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and / or years of experience equivalent
- Typically, 2 3 years of company or agency experience in commercial insurance services is required
- General understanding of basic commercial property and casualty coverages required
- Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- High aptitude for accuracy in mathematical calculations
- Strong attention to detail required
- Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
- Readiness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance education beyond continuing education requirements as needed
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of client and company information
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
- Legally able to work in the United States
This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
