About the Role

The Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for the financial performance, operational deployment, and evaluation of all revenue cycle activities, including billing, cash posting, follow-up, collections, and revenue cycle reporting.

As part of this role, the Revenue Cycle Manager will be tasked with implementing systems, policies, and procedures that enhance the efficiency of Charlie Health's revenue reconciliation, building a high-performing team alongside the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, and partnering with the Finance team to ensure the company maintains market-leading collections and strong financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with revenue cycle leadership to enhance work flows through the introduction of new policies and procedures
  • Direct and coordinate overall functions of revenue cycle activity, ensuring maximization of cash flow while improving patient and family relations
  • Manage Revenue Cycle Supervisors, Leads and Analysts
  • Review current status of patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner
  • Assist in implementing and executing the day-to-day functions of the Billing / Collection department
  • Monitor for timely payments received by third-party payers and patients; immediately report any discrepancies in collections
  • Ensure staff perform month-end closing procedures within the established timeframe and assist as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Four to seven years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
  • Strong acumen of commercial and Medicaid insurance policies and benefits
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Experience with CollaborateMD preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
  • Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Experience advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days / week in our Nashville office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office

The expected base pay for this role will be between $90,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience.

Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
