About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Adult Services Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 hours, 06 : 45 PM to 07 : 15 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License : Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications : Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have : - 1-year full-time equivalent experience in a relevant field- Graduate of an accredited nursing program- Registered Nurse License- Basic Life Support Certification- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification Job Description : - Provide high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to execute comprehensive patient care plans.- Monitor vital signs and assess any changes in patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed.- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Engage in continuous education and professional development activities.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive care environment.- Participate in all required training and orientation programs. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Two years of recent ICU nursing experience.- NIH Stroke Scale Certification.- CCRN preferred.- Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is beneficial.
