The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time System Administrator, GS-2210-12 located at Logistics Support Branch, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA.

Recruitment incentives are available based on eligibilityIn this position, you will serve as a senior systems administration support for AFRC / A4 systems, such as AFRC Basing and Logistics Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S), Civil Engineering Planning Tool (CEPT), Support Agreement Management Tool (SAM Tool).

Defines information technology efforts and strategies for integration and interoperability of systems across the AFRC / A4 mission spectrum.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain / maintain a TS / SCI clearance
• This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing
• Knowledge of IT systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects;

and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment.

• Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
• Knowledge of IT management information systems and applications software technology to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system, and applications software programs and to measure system performance and / or extend operating system capabilities to support organizational business processes and operations.
• Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed.
