The following are responsibilities related to theAnimal Caretaker :

Primary role,monitor daily animal health and welfare while performing daily animal health observations, animal husbandry duties to maintain quality and health of research animals, to include : perform daily water bottle / automatic water line and cage checks;

provide appropriate food and water; perform cage changing and / or cage cleaning as required per SOP and / or specified protocols.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theAnimal Caretakerposition :

Education & Exp : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Six months experience in research animal care and husbandry preferred.

Certification / Licensure : Achieve Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification within twelve months of eligibility to sit for the examination. Job Qualifications
