Position Summary :
Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, scope of practice, along with recognized professional standards and Health Partner and employer specific protocols and policy.
Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service.
Education / Experience :
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Associate degree or diploma required
- 1 year of prior experience in nursing preferred
Preferred :
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Ambulatory Nursing Experience
Special Knowledge / Skills / Certifications / Licenses :
- Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse’s licensure. WI licensure where applicable.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served and ensure safety of patients.
- Possesses the qualities of strong critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act
- Critical thinking, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Fluent in EMR (EPIC) use
- Understanding of Nursing Practice Act and Scope of Practice for various roles
