Overview :

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Communications, answers incoming calls and connects calls to proper departments, patients rooms and medical personnel.

Processes in-house calls, and long distance calls. Monitors alarms. Pages physicians and other medical personnel. Dispatches Security and Maintenance Units as appropriate.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Dispatch or telephone answering experience.
• Required Education : None
• Preferred Education : High school diploma.
• Certifications : None
• Other : Computer skills.
