Greetings! LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly proficient Medical Billing Financial Counselor to join one of their excellent healthcare organizations located in the Tucson, AZ area!
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide guidance to patients regarding their financial responsibilities pertaining to the services in the facility.
- Asses patient's financial abilities and determine their ability to pay for services.
- Advise and educate patients on insurance benefits and financial liability.
- Collects payments or negotiate payment arrangements when needed.
- Perform accurate and timely verification of insurance benefits.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare collections or a related field required.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime required .
Job Type : Minimum 3-month contract with potential to extend / convert
Pay Details : $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
