About The Position
Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration : Part-Time Shift : Days Monday-Friday (Varies, generally 9 : 30 AM-6 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM dependent on caseload) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred License : Current speech-language pathology license or license-eligible in Oklahoma;
eligible for a temporary license Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology - ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or completion within the first year under a licensed therapist Job Description : - Develop a treatment plan and appropriate follow-up by performing an initial and ongoing assessment of the patient's condition.
- Provide speech therapy services. - Document the delivery of speech therapy services. - Attend patient care meetings and actively participate in planning for the provision of speech / language services.
- Work across departments to maintain daily workflow for the provision of Speech / Language Pathology Services. - Assist departmental leadership in ensuring quality Speech / Language Pathology services.
- Supervision of SLP-Assistants in an outpatient setting, including direct and indirect patient caseload coordination. Preferred Experience : - Experience with outpatients, pediatric feeding, dysphagia management.
- Vital Stim certification and Medicare documentation experience.
