ROLE of the POSITION
This is an opportunity for a researcher who has completed their doctoral studies and thesis to join a growing clinical department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV to be a full-time researcher dedicated to investigating diseases of our field.
The applicant’s area of expertise may include, but not be limited to, Bioengineering, Cancer Molecular Biology, Database Bio statistical Analysis, or Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
This position will involve interaction with departmental faculty, resident physicians in training, medical students, and other campus graduate / undergraduate faculty / students, as well as supervising research projects by residents and students.
The candidate will be salaried and expected to apply to procure grant funding for ongoing and future research projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a PhD degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA and 1 3 years of preferred experience.
Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. This position is contingent upon funding.
