About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Psychiatry Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week Experience : 2+ Years License : Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Great communication skills, de-escalation techniques, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) with Applied Practice Skills (APS) will be provided Job Description : Provide compassionate psychiatric care in a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 5 : 1.
- Utilize equipment such as restraint chairs, seclusion rooms, IV pumps, feeding pumps, and glucometers effectively.- Document patient information accurately in the Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Exhibit time management skills and flexibility, with an easy-going demeanor.- Ability to multitask in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Adhere to the dress code with Galaxy Blue scrubs.- Participate in weekend rotations every third weekend.- Maintain commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
