TTG is accepting applications for Program Manager (PM), Airport Operations located at Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sanford, Florida.
Job Details
This position is located at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) in Sanford, Florida. This position is a direct support position under TTG's Task Order Contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Screening Partnership Program (SPP).
TTG provides security screening services to the TSA SPP at SFB.
As a PM with TTG, you will have daily operational oversight of screening operations at SFB. The Essential Duties listed below address the requirements and Specific Duties assigned to the PM.
Essential duties : (include but are not limited to)
- Ensure that operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and stakeholder standards.
- Build effective relationships - establish and maintain strong and effective relationships within the company and with our clients, employees, teammates, and the airport / aviation community.
- Direct, plan, organize, and coordinate with collaboration from the Deputy Program Manager and supervisors the day-to-day operations of the security screening program and assist with safety regulation and enforcement.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of company employees, and initiate corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.
Monitor and evaluate programs for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement.
- Implement effective recruitment to include hiring fairs, and manage staffing / scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and approve timesheets, review and approve invoices and expense reports.
- Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations.
- Communicate with the client and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirement :
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- The required minimum skills and experience for this position are presented below : Any one of the following;Formal certification in program / project management issued by the Federal Government (such as FAC-PM, DAWIA, or U.
- S. DHS) or certification issued by a non-government organization like the PMP® credential issued by the Project Management Institute;
- orAt least five (5) years of management experience in aviation security, airport operations, or personnel security services, demonstrated experience in supervising personnel in a Federal Government environment is highly desired;
- At least seven (7) years of general management experience or three (3) years as a certified Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STSO) or higher position;
andAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in an effective, efficient, and professional manner.
To be considered 'best qualified', you should possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience :
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Deputy Program Manager in airport operations or equivalent.
- DoD contracting experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in security administration, public administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage a security operation.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Be available for emergency response twenty-four () hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
