General Summary
This position is responsible for using independent discretion and knowledge to prepare complex income tax returns and schedules, and other tax documents to ensure accurate tax reporting or tax planning.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Preparation of income tax returns or other tax documents, including related maintenance, processing, and analysis of accounting records to ensure timely and accurate reporting or tax planning.
Income tax return expectations include :
- Form 1120, U.S. Corporation Income Tax Return, consolidated and separate, and corresponding consolidated and separately filed state income tax returns
- Form 1065, U.S. Return of Partnership Income and corresponding state income tax returns
- Potential for foreign compliance returns
- Review returns of lower-tier analysts for accuracy to ensure final submissions are correct.
- Prepare supporting documentation for organized audit trail to minimize audit assessment and future audit exposure.
- Actively research process improvements as needed to ensure efficiency.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
- Develop good working relationships with various counterparts within the company to ensure accurate data support.
- Lead special projects as assigned to improve processes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Work Experience
5+ years of experience in related field

Base Salary Range :
$90,999.00 - $136,500.00
Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
