Position Overview :
As the Senior Manager of Data Analytics, you will lead our data analytics efforts and provide strategic insights that drive business decisions.
You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and developing actionable recommendations to optimize our CPG business operations.
This role requires a deep understanding of the CPG industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-impact results.
Experience with customer acquisition, direct-to-consumer (DTC) models, and digital tools like SA360 and Shopify is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and execution of data analytics strategies to support business objectives in the CPG space.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization across various business functions, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track progress against goals.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and improve customer targeting.
- Drive data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Mentor and lead a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and drive project success.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve data analytics capabilities.
- Utilize SA360 for search engine marketing analytics and reporting.
- Leverage experience with subscription models to optimize customer lifetime value and retention strategies.
- Integrate and analyze data from Shopify to enhance e-commerce performance and customer experience.
- Focus on customer acquisition strategies and direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives to grow the customer base and improve market penetration.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a consumer-facing industry such as e-commerce, retail, or wellness.
- Proven track record of leading data analytics initiatives and delivering actionable insights that drive business results.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to create compelling reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred experience with SA360 for SEM analytics.
- Hands-on experience with subscription-based business models and optimizing customer lifetime value.
- Proficiency in using Shopify for e-commerce analytics and data integration.
- Strong background in customer acquisition and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategies.
