About theRole
Our client a highlyregarded CPA firm in San Jose CA is seeking a SeniorManager in private Audit to lead and manage auditengagements for private companies.
In this role youll beresponsible for ensuring the delivery of toptier audit and advisoryservices overseeing audit teams and acting as the primary liaisonbetween clients and the firm.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Leadprivate audit engagements ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP GAASand relevant SEC regulations.
- Manage and mentoraudit teams including planning budgeting scheduling and reviewingaudit work to ensure timely projectcompletion.
- Provide expert guidance onfinancial reporting regulatory compliance and business processimprovements.
- Develop junior staff throughcoaching mentoring and performancefeedback.
- Stay current with industryregulations and apply best practices to clientengagements.
- Identify risks and offerimprovement solutions for clients.
- Collaboratewith other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions toclients.
RequiredQualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or arelated field.
- U.S. CPA designationrequired.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience inpublic accounting specializing in private companyaudits.
- At least 4 years of experience managingaudit teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S.GAAP GAAS and SEC regulations.
- Proficiency inaudit software and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
- Excellent leadership communication andclient relationship skills.
PreferredBackground :
Experience at top accountingfirms such as Big 4 (EY PwC KPMG Deloitte) or midsized firms (RSMBDO Grant Thornton Moss Adams etc.).
