DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Lecturers may be needed to teach in various social work curriculum sequences, including generalist and advanced practice, policy, research, field practicum, human behavior & the social environment, or race, gender, and inequality.
Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and / or online.
The policy and expectation of the California State University is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California.
RANK AND SALARY : Lecturer.
Lecturer AY (Range 2) - $5,507 - $6,677
Lecturer AY (Range 3) - $6,221 - $13,224
Lecturer AY (Range 4) - $6,825 - $14,523
Lecturer AY (Range 5) - $8,593 - $15,211
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
DATE OF APPOINTMENT : Fall Semester begins August 19, 2024, and Spring Semester begins January 21, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS : Applicants must have an MSW. University teaching experience preferred.
