AVP, Commercial Insurance Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Achieve Middle Market Pkg property and casualty business plan by managing a team of underwriters with a focus on production, underwriting and maintenance of new and renewal accounts within the Southern California Territory
• Responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships with brokers and clients within the assigned territory to assure the continued flow of new business opportunities.
• Establish working relationships with themercial Insurance Managers, Branch Managers, and Regionalmercial Insurance Manager to contribute to the overall growth ofmercial Insurance in the region and execute on coordinated strategies and initiatives
• Evaluate, select, underwrite, price, quote and maintain new and renewal business.
• Work with the team of underwriters to develop and implement marketing plans with brokers and clients in territory.
• Retain accounts through active participation in Chubb Stewardship and Enterprise Account process.
• Participate in product line projects as required.
• Forecast monthly production and annual plan and pipeline to manager.
• Oversee proper policy issuance and other account agreements execution including foreign policy implementations.

Qualifications

• 4 year College degree in insurance, business or related fields or equivalent experience
• 8+ yearsmercial or package property and casualty experience
• Management experience is strongly preferred
• Superiormunication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

The pay range for the role is $102,000 to $168,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.

The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
