Are you looking for an opportunity to join a strong and established team? We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Project Engineer to help lead our Construction Engineering and Inspection Team in Southwest Florida.

This position has the option of being based from our Tampa, Florida office.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Work involves planning, coordination and problem solving on a variety of considerably complex projects, involving several disciplines, contractors and / or regulatory agencies for projects typically involving major roadway and bridge construction.
• Leads subordinate internal staff involved in the observation, testing and sampling of construction materials, observation of construction work, and documentation of plan revisions and work progress.
• Prepares and coordinates contract changes and supplemental agreements with client.
• Provides financial management of construction office operations, monitoring costs and expenses, approving and dispersing funds, and coordinating accounting and cost allocation.
• Performs non-manual field work that involves a combination of conventional and complex features, requiring the application of sound and diversified professional engineering knowledge in broad areas of assignments, usually including the coordination of various projects.
• Interfaces internally with senior technical professionals, technical managers, and administrative staff and managers as necessary.
• Experience working with FDOT is preferred.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, plus fifteen years' experience.
• FDOT Advanced MOT or ability to achieve within 6 months.
• Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.
• P.E is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).
• Ability to direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
