SALARY : $ 90,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on eduation and experience).

Our client is seeking Senior Embedded Software Engineers.

They will be hiring a minimum of 2 and possibly more engineers.

AZ office is similar to "We Work".

Summary :

This position is responsible for embedded software development from the ground up on new designs and hardware.

Very futuristic aircraft - think the Tesla of aviation.

Company has been around 20+ years but is in a HUGE growth mode.

Background : Aviation OR Medical Devices (See Minneapolis) OR Automotive (See Detroit).

Electric vehicle designers where they are over worked love coming here.

Required Skills :

6-10 years Exp in related field (medical, automotive or aviation)

Exp with : Software development, embedded software

Generating System Requirements, Traceability Matrices, Interface Control Documents, and related design specifications.

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Software Engineering or equivalent required.

Safety-critical software development and certification (Aerospace, Medical, Automotive).

Embedded software development (some hardware background is a plus).

Proficient with software development tools and methodologies.

Proficient in C, C++.

Good communicator.

Collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineering to achieve fully integrated systems will be required.

Generating all required documentation in support of DO-178C and DO-254 certification activities

Requirements Management Software tools and methods : DOORS, Jama, or similar programs.

Change Management Software tools and methods : Jira, Clearcase, SVN, or similar programs.

Familiarity with open source tools a plus (GCC, GDB, and other similar programs).

Compliance with 14 CFR Part 23 regulations, including DO-178 / DO-254 or similar processes.

Desired Skills :

Experience with small multi-disciplinary teams is a plus.

System Safety experience is a HUGE PLUS
