Position Summary
A clinical competent Radiographer who performs duties necessary for electrophysiology procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Provides pre-procedural care, intraprocedure and post procedure care of patients scheduled for electrophysiology procedures.
- Operates Siemen’s x-ray / digital equipment (single plane & biplane) & portable c-arm.
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures, device implants and emergency transfers.
- Surgical scrub assisting physician during electrophysiology procedures while maintaining sterile field.
- May assist with circulating to pull needed equipment / supplies during procedure.
- Assist with sheath pulls, deployment of closure devices, radial & groin management.
- Participates in patient transport.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Assumes professional responsibility, accountability and initiative.
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required :
- Radiologic Licensure, RTR
