SUMMARY The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, managing the Salesforce development team, working closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and the IT development team to identify and analyze gaps between business requirements and the Salesforce functionality;

designing solutions to enable best practices within the Salesforce platform while supporting business initiatives, as well as providing support in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Own and manage the Salesforce platform that supports Sales / Sales Operations, Service, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, Security, Product Development, Revenue, and Lead Gen vision and goals Align Salesforce with Accel’s business strategy, both in terms of the business strategy provided by C-level leaders and execution strategies as defined by department / functional area leaders.

Work with end users, stakeholders, leadership, and IT resources to identify and analyze business requirements and design solutions that can be implemented within the Salesforce platform to enhance and create more efficient processes Consider how new Salesforce releases and enhancements might benefit the organization Manage the Salesforce team to ensure successful delivery of enhancements, modifications, integrations, maintenance, and customer support Coach and manage Salesforce resources and actively participate in the goal setting and performance review process Identify and define new Salesforce roles and build out the Salesforce team as needed Interface with senior leadership, department owners, and end users to ensure Salesforce-related projects have proper impact, adoption, and identified standards Leverage data from Salesforce and other information systems to inform business decisions, identify trends, and optimize business and IT processes.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other IT teams and the centralized data team to drive Salesforce adoption and maximize its value as a pillar of Accel’s technology stack.

Lead organizational change initiatives relates to Salesforce implementations and modifications with minimal disruption to business.

Stay informed regarding Salesforce innovation and emerging technologies, informing business leaders of how these changes and advancements may be able to benefit Accel.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of six (6) years’ experience working in Salesforce Salesforce Administrator Certification Prior experience working in a Business Analyst / Consultant and / or Administrator position Extensive experience working closely with end users and executive leadership to gather and analyze business needs Extensive experience overseeing solution design Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Preferred : Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
