THERAPIST / SOCIAL WORKER FULL TIME

Responsibilities Join our team FULL TIME! We are looking for the energetic, dynamic Master's level social worker to flex between our inpatinet and outpatient services.

The Therapist counsels individuals and facilitates groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in medical setting and works with the patient and family to create a discharge plan for the patient.

Therapist also uses therapeutic interventions to assist the patient in crisis situations. The therapist also participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care, treatment plan goals and discharge planning.

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio. We serve adult patients 18 years of age and older that need mental health and chemical dependency services.

Inpatient offerings include treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management and stabilization as well as mental health crisis management.

Our outpatient services extend the continuum of care to include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs which allow patients to develop and utilize proper coping mechanisms to help establish a foundation for life.

Additionally, we offer a Relapse Prevention Program along with a Medication Administration Program to support patients in maintaining lifelong sobriety.

Qualifications Education : MSW or BSW working on MSW Professional License : LSW or LISW While previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, we are willing to train a new graduate excited to learn.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
