Job Summary :
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and implementing recruitment strategies to meet the needs of SCF.
The Recruiter serves as a liaison between hiring managers and applicants; identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards and needs of SCF.
The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and retaining candidates for SCF positions and supporting the hiring process at SCF.
This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experience. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc.
CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population.
Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services :
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. One (1) year Human Resources Assistant experience; OR one (1) year recruiting, or professional sales experience required;
OR demonstrated proficiency as an HR Assistant, Compensation and Benefits Assistant, Recruiting Assistant or Supervisor I at SCF.
Additional Qualifications for Recruiter II : Meets all requirements of Recruiter I in addition to the following :
1. Two (2) years of professional recruiting experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Recruiter I as SCF.
Native Preference :
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
Employee Health Requirements :
Compliance with our Employee Health procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment.
