The Joint Commission accredited facility first opened its doors to the public in 1941 as an 18 bed facility and has steadily grown since then, blossoming into one of the most trusted names in medical care in the region.

Facility Location
In Spanish the word Santa Cruz means Holy Cross . This city just south of San Francisco is located off the northern part of Monterey Bay.
Santa Cruz is now well known for its temperate climate, the beauty of its natural coastline and forests and its unconventional community lifestyle.
It’s actually a beach resort with an oceanfront amusement park. There’s even a Clock Tower in the center of the city.
