Redwood Outdoors is an exciting e-commerce company that specializes in Outdoor Saunas & Cold Plunge Tubs. We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee our technology initiatives and ensure smooth operations across our digital platforms and physical infrastructure.
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading software implementation projects, gathering stakeholder requirements, identifying technology solutions, providing help desk support, and managing vendor relationships.
We work onsite as a team at our Kent warehouse / showroom office.
What You'll Do in the Role :
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with various departments (e-commerce, warehouse, customer service) to gather and document technical requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to ensure comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
- Work with stakeholders to identify software solutions that integrate e-commerce platforms with warehouse management systems.
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate IT projects from inception to completion, with a focus on platform enhancements and integrating management systems.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report status to stakeholders regularly.
Help Desk Support
- Oversee and provide support for all internal IT issues
- Support People Operations team in onboarding new employees including procurement and set up of equipment
- Develop and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base.
- Train staff on new systems and troubleshooting procedures.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
- Ensure vendor compliance and performance monitoring.
What You'll Need for the role :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management and / or support, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably those integrating e-commerce and warehouse operations a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Ability to be onsite 5 days per week in Kent, WA.
Compensation : As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.
However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education
- Salary range : $85,000-$110,000 gross plus benefits
