The Role
The UGG Sr. Finance Manager is an analytical person, with proven communication skills and experience working across multiple business units and regions to illuminate insights to senior management.
The Sr. Manager supports the goals and strategies of Deckers by providing planning, analysis, investment rationale, and commentary of company performance to drive informed decision-making.
The role is responsible for planning and analyzing the Wholesale business and working across functions and global finance teams to drive standardization, financial governance, and accountability.
This is a highly visible role whose work will directly inform senior leadership. A strong candidate has progressive leadership experience working with business units, accounting, and corporate FP&A.
The candidate has a strong understanding of corporate general ledger structure to drive improved understanding of expense capture, as well as communication and critical thinking skills that bring to light key performance insights.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to :
- Oversee the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for our North America Wholesale businesses to ensure financial goals are met and exceeded.
- Lead and mentor one direct report, actively contributing to their professional growth by fostering the development of their skill set and business acumen.
- Develop and deliver insightful reporting that empowers company leadership to make informed decisions regarding operational performance, financial strategy, and growth opportunities.
- Drive efficiency in the business by streamlining reporting, processes, and communication, resulting in improved operational effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and governance enhancements that standardize ways of working, provide actionable insights to leadership, and promote cross-functional collaboration across departments.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to consistently enhance our financial operations, delivering tangible value to the organization through cost savings, revenue optimization, and process efficiencies.
- Build financial modeling to analyze business drivers.
- Support Accounting with month end close, ensuring costs are appropriately captured.
- Manage FP&A reporting calendar and Hyperion scenarios.

We’d love to hear from people with
- At least 10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic planning, accounting, or business analysis. We are looking for people with a range of skills including :
- Deep understanding of corporate general ledger structure and expense capture.
- Keen understanding of quantitative and financial analysis critical for management to make informed decisions.
- Strategic thinking and ability to provide analysis and decision support to multiple strategies, whether they be cost-cutting, optimization, or growth.
- Proven communication skills and comfortable designing and delivering presentations.
- Executive presence to clearly explain and communicate performance to senior management.
- Listening to understand unique quantitative and financial challenges and devise solutions that streamline and standardize.

$160,000 - $165,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location.
Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
